Jutaryian Cottoner

Well-traveled would be an understatement for Juartaryian Cottoner. She grew up as the child of parents who were in the military and spent ten years in Heidelberg, Germany. She was born in Madisonville, Kentucky and has touched down in many areas of the U.S. She chose Northern Kentucky University to pursue her bachelor’s degree, but was forced to withdraw from school in 2003 to serve in Operation Iraqi Freedom. True to her military roots, she served for a year in the United States Army Reserves.

Enthusiastic about returning to the states, Juataryian decided to move to Georgia and enroll in Clark Atlanta University in January 2005 to finish her degree. As if drawn by destiny, she was selected to be a part of the College Talk community and has become a favorite on the set. In the little time she has been in the Peach State, she has had the pleasure of working with The Creflo Show under Executive Producer, Robert Townsend and has met one of her role models, T.V. and film producer, Debra Martin Chase.

Juartaryian’s 12-month stint in Iraq only fueled her desire to accomplish the goal of owning her own production company. She hopes to change the way African-Americans see themselves in the world hoping to open  more doors for people of color.
